HELP FOR HAITI!

Please help us gather supplies for the Mission trip to Haiti this June! The trip is scheduled for 7-14 June and there are supplies we need to bring! You can help by collecting and dropping off any of the listed items at any of our studio locations, Grand Forks, Fosston or Bemidji. Call 800-435-1071 for location details, or if you have any questions, etc. You can also "sponsor a suitcase!" All trip participants must pay $40 per suitcase in order to check the baggage with the airlines and are limited to two carry on items per person. You can sponsor a suitcase for someone by donating the cost of checking their bag! Donations can also be made to help with the cost of the mission trip. The cost is $995 per person plus $722 for airfare. NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL OR UNNEEDED! Make donations payable to "Shine The Light, Inc and please ensure you put "Haiti Mission Trip" in the memo line. We have one family of 5 that has almost $9000 to raise! You can mail donations to Your QFM 2524 S. Washington St. Ste. 1, Grand Forks, ND 58201. All trip funds are due by April 30th.

Here is a list of some of the supplies we need to take on this trip:

Medical Supplies including: first aid creams and lotions, antibiotic ointment, alcohol, peroxide, soap, saline solution, band aids and bandages, gauze pads and tape, sterile gloves (all sizes), burn gel and bandages, lice combs and treatment, etc.

Personal Hygiene Items including: toothbrushes and toothpaste, combs and brushes, hair ties, soap, shampoo, wash cloths, hand sanitizer, feminine hygiene products, small bags for making personal hygiene and first aid kits, etc.

Children's Ministry Items including: yarn, paper, crayons, plastic shoe boxes, beads, construction paper or other craft items (not requiring glue or paste), stickers, crochet hooks, small games (marbles, checkers, etc.) soccer balls with a hand pump, jump ropes, jacks, Frisbees, beach balls, etc.

General Items including: flip-flops and sunglasses for children and adults, zippered mattress covers (twin size) for bed bug protection, mosquito netting and non-aerosol bug spray (DEET), high SPF sunscreen, wide mouth water bottles.
