One Voice Bemidji Community Good Friday Service @ Sanford Center Ballroom

One Voice Bemidji is inviting everyone to a Community Good Friday Service for the Bemidji area, Friday, April 18th at 6:00 pm. This will include a time of worship, message, and communion. Our heart is to bring the body of Christ together, and what better way to do it than to commemorate what Christ did for all of us on the cross, and then look forward to the great celebration of his Resurrection on Easter Sunday! The Good Friday Service will be in the Sanford Center Ballroom on Friday, April 18th @ 6pm. Pastor Alex Robinson of Calvary Chapel with be sharing the message. One Voice Bemidji is a working together of many Bible believing churches in the Bemidji area to bring glory to the Lord!

The Evangelical Free Church of Bemidji invites you to our Good Friday Service on April 18th at 7 pm. Pastor Eric Nygren will give a message about Christ’s finished work, and we will share in Communion together. We will have music from our Hand chimes, Worship Team, Choir, and Youth Band. Nursery will be available, and the service will be live-streamed at www.efcbemidji.org.

Living Local Women FREE Workshop @ Clearbrook City Classroom

HERBS! HERBS! & HERBS!
Living Local Women is excited to announce our next workshop presenter is Master Gardener Dawn from Dawn Wann’s Nursery, located south of Bagley. She will be speaking with us about everything herbs. Her greenhouses are full of new plants! We are all looking forward to getting back into our gardens. Dawn is known for her extensive knowledge of herbs. Dawn Wann’s Nursery offers both common and unusual varieties, all of which grow successfully here in Clearwater County.

Join us for a fun morning of learning from one of our own. Living Local Women Workshops are FREE to attend, and supported by a grant from the Northwest Minnesota Foundation Women’s Fund.

This workshop will be held Saturday April 19, 2025 10 am- Noon at the Clearbrook City Classroom, located at 200 Elm Street, please use the east entrance to City Hall for most direct access.

“The File” Workshop for Older Adults @ Clearbrook Senior Center

Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging to present The File Workshop at Clearbrook Senior Center

As part of their ongoing Workshop Series for Older Adults, the Clearbrook-Leonard Senior Center is hosting Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging and Legal Services of Northwest for an informational session on The File an important summary record keeping system for: 1) Financial Information 2) Investment & Insurance and 3) Legal Documents. This record provides a format for planning and discussions with loved ones in the event of emergency or death.

As we grow older, we do not always find the time or desire to put “our affairs in order”. Join us for a conversation around proven ways to collect and organize this information. The File is an important collection of important document descriptions that will aid our loved ones access and directions on where and how to find access to these sources of important information.

The Workshop will be held Wednesday April 23, 2025 Noon- 1:30 pm at the Clearbrook Leonard Senior Center located on Main Street in Clearbrook. Join us as we open the conversation around how we put The File together, for ourselves and our loved ones.
Come early and enjoy lunch with our guest speakers at 11:00 am. Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging is sponsoring a FREE lunch. Limited to the first 50 reservations. Reservations required by April 21. Call and leave a message at 218-776-3154.

Improving Digital Literacy Workshop #7 @ Clearbrook Senior Center

The Digital Literacy Workshop Series final learning opportunity in April 2025.

Our final workshop offering on April 24, 2025. “IPhone & IPad Basics” at the Clearbrook-Leonard Senior Center from 12:00- 1:30 pm. This workshop is specific to Apple mobile devices and the IOS operating system. Learners are encouraged to bring their Apple device to the workshop, as we will being doing hands on activities to build your confidence in using your Apple devices. Learners will find out about using touch gestures and discover common apps. A primary objective of this workshop is for learners to increase their confidence in their ability to use their devices easily and safely!
All workshops have been professionally designed with easy to understand instructions and hands-on activities, where everyone learns something new. The tips and tricks sections have surprised even individuals who are very digital literate. Come join us for a fun way to learn new skills!

Grygla Men’s Fellowship is please to have pastor Ken Danielson join us.
Ken Danielson and his family were called into Native Ministry in January of 2008. He serves as Pastor to the All Nations New Life Center Church in Warroad, MN and on two reserves on Lake of the Woods in Ontario, Canada.

Prior to serving here on Lake of the Woods, Ken served in South Carolina at a Calvary Chapel Church as Administrative Pastor for 7 years, as Headmaster/Elementary Principal of a Christian School for 2 years, and as Instructor and Athletic Trainer at a Christian College for 7 years.

He grew up on a dairy farm by Mille Lacs Lake and met his wife, Linda, at Bethel College. He and Linda have two children – Erin [daughter] and Ethan [son].

Men of all ages come and join us for a meal, a time of fellowship and worship. Ken will challenge us to Be Men of God.

Unicorn Experience Fundraiser @ Blazin' Saddles Ranch

Please join us at the Blazin’ Saddles ranch on April 26 any time between 1:00 and 4:00 pm for a fun afternoon to help us raise funds for our Horse and Bible Camps and women’s ministries.

All are welcome to join in the fun! Horse rides, baby animals, yard games, touring our camp facility, and enjoy refreshments in our camp kitchen.

National Day Of Prayer @ Clearwater County Courthouse Flagpole

12:00 Noon, Thursday National Day of Prayer for Clearwater County Residents 30 min. of prayer at Flagpole in front of Court House.  We will pray this year’s prayer together.  Copies will be handed out, and then pray for our area: 1) Churches, 2) Families 3) Education Centers Public and Private 4) Businesses and work places 5) Military 6) Government and people representing us 7) All of the Arts, Entertainment & Media sources.
The first Thursday in May has always been designated to pray for these important 7 areas in our culture and lives.

7 p.m. Community Wide Time of prayer for National Day of Prayer, at Country Faith Church rural Clearbrook a Community Wide gathering for all, joining together to pray. Any questions or directions please contact Joy Eck at 218-791-9605.
