Digital Literacy for Older Adults Workshop #6 @ Clearbrook Senior Center
Apr 17 @ 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

The Digital Literacy Workshop Series two final learning opportunities in April 2025.
On April 17, 2025, “How to Use the Internet Safely” will be offered at the Clearbrook-Leonard Senior Center from 12:00- 2:30 pm. This workshop is designed to introduce internet users to basic safety skills when they visit websites, create passwords, and receive email and other communications from potential fraudsters. A primary objective of the workshop is for learners to increase confidence in their ability to engage online, while staying safe from scams and fraud. We have collaborated with the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Department, and will be sharing their most current list about the specific threats occurring in our county and region. Important information to help keep us all safe.

All workshops have been professionally designed with easy to understand instructions and hands-on activities, where everyone learns something new. The tips and tricks sections have surprised even individuals who are very digital literate. Come join us for a fun way to learn new skills!
Free Digital Literacy One on One mentoring is offered Thursday afternoons on April 17 and April 24 at 1:30 pm. Bring your device, your questions, concerns or issues and let us help you find the answers! Questions? Email us at: ClearbrookSeniorCenter@gmail.com.
These workshops and mentoring are funded through a national grant awarded to the Clearbrook-Leonard Senior Center in collaboration with the National Council on Aging and AT&T.
