Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging to present The File Workshop at Clearbrook Senior Center
As part of their ongoing Workshop Series for Older Adults, the Clearbrook-Leonard Senior Center is hosting Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging and Legal Services of Northwest for an informational session on The File an important summary record keeping system for: 1) Financial Information 2) Investment & Insurance and 3) Legal Documents. This record provides a format for planning and discussions with loved ones in the event of emergency or death. As we grow older, we do not always find the time or desire to put “our affairs in order”. Join us for a conversation around proven ways to collect and organize this information. The File is an important collection of important document descriptions that will aid our loved ones access and directions on where and how to find access to these sources of important information. The Workshop will be held Wednesday April 23, 2025 Noon- 1:30 pm at the Clearbrook Leonard Senior Center located on Main Street in Clearbrook. Join us as we open the conversation around how we put The File together, for ourselves and our loved ones. |
The Digital Literacy Workshop Series final learning opportunity in April 2025.
Our final workshop offering on April 24, 2025. “IPhone & IPad Basics” at the Clearbrook-Leonard Senior Center from 12:00- 1:30 pm. This workshop is specific to Apple mobile devices and the IOS operating system. Learners are encouraged to bring their Apple device to the workshop, as we will being doing hands on activities to build your confidence in using your Apple devices. Learners will find out about using touch gestures and discover common apps. A primary objective of this workshop is for learners to increase their confidence in their ability to use their devices easily and safely! |
Our open house is for anyone interested in our school. We will have information as well as dinner, games, bounce house, music, and more!
Grygla Men’s Fellowship is please to have pastor Ken Danielson join us. Ken Danielson and his family were called into Native Ministry in January of 2008. He serves as Pastor to the All Nations New Life Center Church in Warroad, MN and on two reserves on Lake of the Woods in Ontario, Canada. Prior to serving here on Lake of the Woods, Ken served in South Carolina at a Calvary Chapel Church as Administrative Pastor for 7 years, as Headmaster/Elementary Principal of a Christian School for 2 years, and as Instructor and Athletic Trainer at a Christian College for 7 years. He grew up on a dairy farm by Mille Lacs Lake and met his wife, Linda, at Bethel College. He and Linda have two children – Erin [daughter] and Ethan [son]. Joshua 1:9 – Verse Men of all ages come and join us for a meal, a time of fellowship and worship. Ken will challenge us to Be Men of God. |
The Support Within Reach sexual violence resource center is hosting Take Back the Night, A Night to Raise Awareness about Sexual Violence and Give Victims & Survivors a Space to Be Heard and Heal. Admission is free and online pre-registration is encouraged. Co-sponsored by the Student Center for Health & Counseling and BSU’s It’s On Us organization, this event will be held Friday, April 25 from 5:00 – 7:30PM at the Lower Lakeside Student Union Dining Area of Bemidji State University’s Hobson Memorial Union, located along Birchmont Drive NE, Bemidji.

We’re excited to share that Beltrami Electric Cooperative’s 17th Annual Multi-Vendor Indoor Garage Sale is just around the corner! This popular community event will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at our garage, located at 4111 Technology Drive NW in Bemidji.
This year’s sale will feature more than 90 booths packed with a wide range of new and gently used items—truly something for everyone! Admission is just $1 per person, and kids 12 and under are free. We’ll also have delicious food concessions, including walking tacos, baked goods, and more, so come hungry!
Most importantly, all proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of the Bemidji Area, supporting essential programs and services that strengthen our community.
The Bemidji Full Gospel Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be held Saturday, May 3 in the First Baptist Church Community Room (1555 Paul Bunyan Dr NW). Please park in the back and use the rear entrance. Starting at 8am, there will be a light breakfast followed by a time of music and the sharing of testimony. This month’s featured speaker is Jason Riggs.
