Walker Area Pregnancy Center Banquet @ Northern Lights Event Center
May 6 @ 6:00 PM

Walker Area Pregnancy Support Center is hosting their Annual Fundraising Banquet on May 6th at 6pm at the Northern Lights Event Center. This is the largest fundraising event put on by WAPS every year for the past 14 years!
The night starts with great food and fellowship, and as always, the dinner is complimentary. We are blessed to have many in our community including Shine the Light and Your QFM who have underwritten this event. That ensures any donations given at the Banquet go right back into supporting the families served by the Walker Area Pregnancy Support Center.
We are excited to share a meal with our guests, share a Center Update and listen to our Keynote Speaker, Robin Wilson. Robin brings a heart for service and healing and is always looking for ways to give back to her community. Robin’s goal is to guide the Walker Area Pregnancy Support Center in “Building a Culture of Life”. She plans to accomplish this by ensuring the Center can provide hope, support, and healing to those they serve so Mom’s and Dads can make life affirming choices when faced with an unplanned pregnancy.
Space is going fast, so if you would like to attend our Banquet, call before April 26th 218-547-5433, or email walkerpsc@arvig.net to reserve your place at the table.

Seeking the Holy Spirit @ Sacred Heart Church
May 8 @ 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
All are welcome to come to Sacred Heart Church (135 3rd St NW, Wilton, MN) on Wednesday, May 8, where speaker Herb Bromenshenkel will be speaking following a free dinner from 5:30-6:00 and music from 6:00-6:15 PM.

Herb Bromenshenkel was raised in a Catholic home. When he was a teenager, Herb had other things on his mind. While in college, he decided that he wanted Jesus to be his Lord. However, wanting Jesus as Lord is not the same as having Him as Lord. By reading his Bible, he drew slowly closer to the Lord. Then when he was approximately 40 years old, he experienced the real power of the Holy Spirit while visiting a maximum security prison in Belize. Since then he has gone on close to 20 mission trips with approximately a dozen in Africa. Herb will speak of some of the major points he has leaned while seeking and walking in the Spirit. Herb is married to his wife, Jana. They have two children and three grandchildren.
