The February 2025 Ruby’s Pantry food distribution will take place on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, at the Sanford Center in Bemidji. Ruby’s Pantry is for anyone that is looking to extend their monthly grocery budget. For a $25 per share donation, (exact change is preferred), you will receive an abundance of groceries. There is no income or residency requirement. This is a drive thru distribution, beginning at 4 pm. Guests should bring baskets/boxes for shares to be contained in their vehicle. Pre-pay for shares is available and can be purchased at www.rubyspantry.org. Pre-payers choose a time slot to pick up their share, and skip the sometimes long wait. There will be a benefit concert for the Lauren Lund Memorial Scholarship Fund on Friday, February 21 at 6:30 PM at the Evangelical Free Church (115 Carr Lake Rd SW) in Bemidji. Philippa Hanna is a Christian singer-songwriter from Sheffield, England, best known for “You’re Still God.”
About the scholarship, via John Lund: “When our daughter Lauren died, Mary and I started a Lauren Lund Memorial Scholarship Fund as a way to help students in different areas of study. We gave one thousand dollars to Heartland Christian Academy per year for a number of years, and after Kingdom Builders School opened I have been giving each school one thousand dollars to help out worthy students in those schools. The Bemidji Full Gospel Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be held Saturday, March 1 in the First Baptist Church Community Room (1555 Paul Bunyan Dr NW). Please park in the back and use rear entrance. Starting at 8am, there will be a light breakfast followed by a time of music and the sharing of testimony. This month’s featured speaker is Jason LaValley.
