Grygla Men’s Fellowship is please to have pastor Ken Danielson join us.
Ken Danielson and his family were called into Native Ministry in January of 2008. He serves as Pastor to the All Nations New Life Center Church in Warroad, MN and on two reserves on Lake of the Woods in Ontario, Canada.

Prior to serving here on Lake of the Woods, Ken served in South Carolina at a Calvary Chapel Church as Administrative Pastor for 7 years, as Headmaster/Elementary Principal of a Christian School for 2 years, and as Instructor and Athletic Trainer at a Christian College for 7 years.

He grew up on a dairy farm by Mille Lacs Lake and met his wife, Linda, at Bethel College. He and Linda have two children – Erin [daughter] and Ethan [son].

Men of all ages come and join us for a meal, a time of fellowship and worship. Ken will challenge us to Be Men of God.

Take Back the Night @ BSU Lower Lakeside Student Union Dining Area

The Support Within Reach sexual violence resource center is hosting Take Back the Night, A Night to Raise Awareness about Sexual Violence and Give Victims & Survivors a Space to Be Heard and Heal. Admission is free and online pre-registration is encouraged. Co-sponsored by the Student Center for Health & Counseling and BSU’s It’s On Us organization, this event will be held Friday, April 25 from 5:00 – 7:30PM at the Lower Lakeside Student Union Dining Area of Bemidji State University’s Hobson Memorial Union, located along Birchmont Drive NE, Bemidji.

Guest Speaker Elyse Totland from the Northwoods Battered Women’s Shelter, access to free university & community resources, free raffle prizes – gift baskets from Splash Xpress, Netzer’s Floral, Bemidji Boardwalk, Hatchet House & more! Unicorn Experience Fundraiser @ Blazin' Saddles Ranch

Please join us at the Blazin’ Saddles Ranch on April 26 any time between 1:00 and 4:00 pm!! You do not have to be part of the Unicorn Photo Shoot to attend. All are welcome to join in the fun! Pony rides, visiting the goats (newborn goat kids and baby horses), playing yard games, touring our Horse and Bible camp facility, and enjoying refreshments in our camp kitchen.

Beltrami Electric Garage Sale Fundraiser @ Beltrami Electric Garage

We’re excited to share that Beltrami Electric Cooperative’s 17th Annual Multi-Vendor Indoor Garage Sale is just around the corner! This popular community event will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at our garage, located at 4111 Technology Drive NW in Bemidji.

This year’s sale will feature more than 90 booths packed with a wide range of new and gently used items—truly something for everyone! Admission is just $1 per person, and kids 12 and under are free. We’ll also have delicious food concessions, including walking tacos, baked goods, and more, so come hungry!

Most importantly, all proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of the Bemidji Area, supporting essential programs and services that strengthen our community.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast @ First Baptist Church Community Room

The Bemidji Full Gospel Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be held Saturday, May 3 in the First Baptist Church Community Room (1555 Paul Bunyan Dr NW). Please park in the back and use the rear entrance. Starting at 8am, there will be a light breakfast followed by a time of music and the sharing of testimony. This month’s featured speaker is Jason Riggs.

Bio From Flyer:
My name is Jason Riggs, and I am the elected Beltrami County Sheriff. I was born in Bemidji but grew up and graduated high school in Deer River, MN. I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1990 where I served until 1995. I enlisted in the MN Army National Guard from 1996 to 2001. I am a graduate of the Hibbing and Range Technical College for Law Enforcement. I started my MN law enforcement career in 2000. I moved back to this area in 2002. I was the Chief of Police for the City of Blackduck from 2002 to 2004. I have worked for the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office since 2004. My wife Kate (of 27 years) and I have 6 children varying in ages from 25 down to 8. I consider myself a servant leader and have devoted my life to public safety and the communities in which I work and live. I enjoy Hockey, Archery, Hiking, Camping, Hunting and Fishing.

Habitat for Humanity Breakfast & Raffle @ Bemidji Eagles Club

We are excited to announce our 2025 Raffle to raise funds for building homes in our community! A total of 1000 tickets will be sold for $20 for four prizes – A beautiful She-Shed, an awesome Airhead WaterMat, a Premium Ice Fishing Package, and $500 in cash.
