Beltrami Electric Cooperative is calling on volunteers of all ages for GreenTouch, a volunteer event to help prepare Lake Bemidji State Park for its 2024 season. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, May 16, from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

• Volunteers will help rake leaves pick up tree debris, clean windows of the picnic shelter and other buildings, trash pickup, highway cleanup, and more.
• Youth groups, service clubs, and other organizations are welcome to participate in GreenTouch.
• You need not be a Beltrami Electric Cooperative member to volunteer.
• Volunteers will need to check in at the park office for a free permit for the park that day.
• A grilled picnic lunch will be provided for volunteers at 5:30 p.m.

If you would like to volunteer for GreenTouch, please contact Angela Lyseng at Beltrami Electric Cooperative by calling 218-444-3689, or e-mail alyseng@beltramielectric.com.
