| There will be a benefit concert for the Lauren Lund Memorial Scholarship Fund on Friday, February 21 at 6:30 PM at the Evangelical Free Church (115 Carr Lake Rd SW) in Bemidji. Philippa Hanna is a Christian singer-songwriter from Sheffield, England, best known for “You’re Still God.”
About the scholarship, via John Lund: “When our daughter Lauren died, Mary and I started a Lauren Lund Memorial Scholarship Fund as a way to help students in different areas of study. We gave one thousand dollars to Heartland Christian Academy per year for a number of years, and after Kingdom Builders School opened I have been giving each school one thousand dollars to help out worthy students in those schools.
