The Beltrami County Master Gardeners will be hosting their Spring Garden Party on Saturday, April 5th 8:30 – 12:00pm at the Evangelical Free Church, 115 Car Lake Rd SW Bemidji. This educational event will feature 3 local experts, door prizes, refreshments, and informational booths to help our community get the gardening season kicked off! Special guest speakers will be Jim Walla, “the Tree Doctor” who will talk about The Edible Forest in Fargo; Tyler Olson, from Nature’s Edge Garden Center, will present on Mastering Annuals for Every Season; and Erik Heimark, co-founder of Maple Ridge Produce, will teach about Vegetable Gardening.
